On Monday, April 17, Dani Alves will once again testify before a judge, at the request of the football player's lawyer.
He is currently in pre-trial detention for the alleged sexual assault of a woman in the bathrooms of Sutton nightclub in Barcelona at the end of 2022.
There are still many uncertainties and now the 'Y ahora Sonsoles' program has spoken exclusively to Alves' friend, Bruno Brasil, who regularly visits him in prison.
Bruno Brasil put forward some arguments in defense of his friend, including one which may act as a trigger for those who have been the victims of sexual assault.
"Dani talked to all of the girls, like I did, but he spoke more with her [the alleged victim]," Brasil told 'Y ahora Sonsoles'.
"She approached him and, at some points, was dancing and rubbing against him, calling his attention.
"I remember that, at one point in the night, Dani separated from her to talk to others and it this same young woman approached him again.
"They went in and out separately and about 15 minutes passed.
"It was all normal, nothing strange was said."
Finally, Bruno Brasil suggested that Alves didn't behave any differently in the aftermath of the alleged assault.
"When he came out of the bathroom he gave me a 'give me five' and the cousin a kiss on the cheek", concluded the Brazilian chef.
